The association

A national voice built exclusively for Flight Dispatchers.

CALDA represents certified Flight Dispatchers and protects the professional, labour, and safety interests of members across Canada.

Who we are

Built by dispatchers, for dispatchers.

Flight Dispatchers share responsibility with the Pilot-in-Command for the safe operational control of every flight under a co-authority dispatch system. CALDA exists to ensure that responsibility is understood, respected, and supported.

Since 1946, the association has represented members through collective bargaining, grievance administration, professional advocacy, regulatory engagement, education, and national coordination.

CALDA’s structure combines a National Executive with seven Local Councils, allowing members to address airline-specific issues while speaking with one national voice.
